Coming May 2026: The Next Act presents SHREK JR!
The wait is over! The Next Act Theatre is thrilled to announce that our first junior musical will be Shrek Jr., coming to life May 15-17, 2026! Auditions will be held Monday, January 26, from 5:30-8:30 PM, with rehearsals on Mondays, 5:30-8:30, and two or three Saturdays. All of our community members aged 7-14 are invited to audition!
A few more pieces are falling into place as we speak. Stay tuned to find out the details of our spring 2026 teen production, along with the location of the Next Act’s home stage, in the next few weeks!

Looking for ways to help the Next Act? There are plenty of opportunities for you to pitch in! We’re in the process of setting up parent committees for the spring shows, and still working hard on getting our 501(c)3 status. If you’re interested in helping out, please fill out our volunteer interest form by clicking here.
