IMPORTANT INFORMATION/ WHAT TO BRING:
1. If interested in auditioning, please fill out a form ahead of the auditions: DEH Link to Audition Form.
2. This show is for ages 13-18. If you are turning 13 within the rehearsal span you are welcome to audition as well.
3. This is a tuition based program. Tuition will be due at first rehearsal. We do not want tuition to be a barrier! Please email thenextacttheatre@gmail.
4. Please be prepared with a 16-32 bar cut in the style of the show (pop/rock/contemporary). (approximately 30 seconds – 1 minute) Your audition song can be musical theater or non musical theater. If you bring a track please bring it on a device that can pair wirelessly to a bluetooth speaker. Otherwise, there is a space on the audition form to link a track. Please include start and stop times.
5. Singing from the show is acceptable but not required.
6. Please bring comfortable clothes and dance shoes- We will have a dance call after everyone has sung. After the dance call we may have some auditioners read from the script.
7. Please bring water as well.
8. If you are unavailable for auditions, please email RKBiggerstaff@gmail.com and we will discuss options.
9. Rehearsals will begin on August 15th from 1pm-5pm. The schedule will be built once conflicts are received at auditions and distributed as soon as possible, but we are looking at two weeknights and Saturday. Rehearsal frequency will increase in the last two weeks. We will have a full tech week.

Synopsis: Seventeen-year-old Evan Hansen has felt invisible his entire life. But when a tragedy shocks his community and thrusts him into the center of a rapidly evolving controversy, Evan is given the opportunity of a lifetime: the chance to be somebody else. As his web of well-intentioned lies begins to unravel, though, Evan is forced to confront the fact that the price of belonging may be far steeper than he bargained for.
